Text Messages (SMS)
Effective October 9, 2026
Hikma can text you about the work you ask it to do. Texts are sent by Hikma, operated by Ibrahim Bajwa, doing business as Hikma, from your own Hikma number.
How you start getting texts
- When you set up your Hikma account, a page titled What’s your number? asks for your mobile number.
- You enter it and tap Text me a code. At the bottom of the same page, before you tap the button, the disclosure reads:
By tapping "Text me a code", you agree to receive texts from Hikma at this number: your setup code, replies to what you text Hikma, and reminders and alerts about the work you ask it to do. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. We will not share your mobile information with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.

- Hikma sends a six-digit code to that number. You type the code into the page, which confirms the phone is yours, and you see your Hikma number on a separate page. Hikma prepares its welcome after you connect an email account, or after three hours without one.
You can reply STOP at any time and keep using Hikma: consent to receive texts is not a condition of any purchase.
What you will receive
Texts about the work you ask Hikma to do:
- Your setup code, once, when you add your number.
- Replies to the requests you send it.
- Questions Hikma needs answered to finish a task.
- Reminders and alerts when work you asked for needs your attention or is done.
Hikma does not send marketing texts. Message frequency varies with how much you ask Hikma to do. Message and data rates may apply.
Stop or get help
- Stop: reply STOP at any time. You will get one message confirming you are unsubscribed, and no further texts. You can also change your number in Settings › Account › Phone.
- Help: reply HELP, or email support@tryhikma.com.
Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
Your number and your privacy
We use your mobile number only to text you about Hikma. Mobile numbers and text-messaging consent are never sold or shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing.
